Nashville Networking Trip

Members of MEISA at the Historic Ryman Auditorium

In the spring of 2012, MINC members traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to meet with industry leaders and professionals. Members received experience in cold-calls, as well as itinerary and trip planning. Students met with many organizations and got to experience country music at it’s finest. MINC members met with the Vice President of Peer Music Nashville, a representative from New Frontier Touring, President of Warner Music Nashville as well as several Vice Presidents, an Agent from Creative Artist Agency, and the Marketing Director of the Historic Ryman Auditorium.

As well as networking with these very important people, students had the opportunity to tour the Ryman Auditorium and explore Broadway and the country music scene.

In the spring of 2013, MINC traveled back to Nashville, TN to meet with some different industry leaders and      professionals.  Members met with talent agent Keith Richards (no, not that Keith Richards!) at Elite Talent    Agency and also with members at the Recording Academy.

Networking with these folks was just part of the trip, while members were able to enjoy another tour at the    Ryman Auditorium as well as an intimate tour with professionals at United Record Pressing, a factory where  vinyl records are made.
